You always need Embird Basic ($144), Studio is the digitising program ($150) and Sfumato ($90) is a separate part as well - total costs %384 - I would strongly recommend buying Iconiser ($20) and Font Engine is worth investing in as well ($145). It would cost you a total of $549, but that would still be much cheaper than a complete set of another brand.
I don't have Sfumato but use the other parts on a daily basis and love it.
145190You have to buy the "basic" part to use any of the other parts - so to buy/use Stutmato and/or Studio you have to get Basic too. They have free trials for all of the pieces so you can try befoe you buy.

Embird Studio is the digitizing element of the software - you need the basic Manager/Editor to start with and then buy which ever other elements you need - cross stitch, sfumato, studio, font engine, iconizer.

3061I have Embird Suite program but it is just the main program. All the other programs are additional to the regular program and have to be purchased separately. Hope this helps. Have you checked on line at www.embird.com
