I keep my threads in these air tight boxes along side my machine .They are labeled so I know what colour belongs where and it makes it easy to get to them

i also use these boxes but i also place thread upside down between threads you can fit nearly as many more you can still label them. as the base fits between the other tags.
More threads less boxes..

Good idea raels, what do you think of my thread holders? Hugs and a flower sweetie.

yours ar very good but I would need too many. Hubby made me the same as yours but hold 30 normal cattons

This is close to the method that I have - I will have to take a picture and post it as well - but I do not have mine in thread order. But do have them in three boxes - that appear to be a bit bigger and not as clear. Hehehe! Thanks! *4U

This is the most brilliant suggestion. I have 4 of
these boxes to hold my Starlite threads, all my other threads are all over the place in other
containers! I have the names and numbers of my
Starlite threads all typed out, and have to keep
referring to the list when I am ready to embroider,
now it's easier and quicker. Thanks a lot.

Geeat idea raels, I use them for my standard machine threads but have my embroidery ones in a drawer currentlt. They will out grow that space shortly. I have purchased so many more since I joined you ladies in this warm fuzzy place. Flowers to all

I also use these holders, but it didn't occur to me to label them. It would certainly make life easier in keeping them in the right place.
