My mean aim to buy Embird software is because of photo stitch designs. Do I have to buy all the modules of Embird?. And what will be the cost of the whole embird with all modules?. Will they send the embird software by post or I will have to download from internet after paying the money.

Thank you. God bless. Viva Carnival. Bernadette de Souza

Not sure, but I believe the 5D has a nice photo stitch program as well. Just wondering, what does Embird do for updates on their outdated software when they come out with a new one? Also, is there a place locally for you that you can take classes on the Embird like you can with the 4D/5D? Guess I could go chk out their site as well.

I have embird and have it all and love it... plus lots of others have put me in the same direction and Secrets has the best price plus you get points. also I have purchased alot of tutorials from Carolyn from there too. But, you can find free tutorials on the net too.. and lots of people to help as well. Wendi

I love Embird. I have the studio, if I could ever sit still long enough to figure it out. But the iconizer alone is worth the whole price. I'd hate the thought of not having Embird. Probably quit embroidering.

I love Embird. 5D is 4x the prrice of Embird and as far as I'm concerned Embird does the job in an easier way. All designs I uploaded since November 2008 are made in Embird, and they stitch out beautifully according to quite a number of users.

HI, philippa already responded. go to Embird site and all your answers will be there. I have it and love it, You do not have to buy all the pluggins but the main module. I have embird, studio and iconizer, I am thinking to add font. I bought mine from Secret of Embroidery, it is cheaper than buying it from Embird Site, and you will get bonus points to buy designs.

Hi, Do you find it easy? I have a CD but it is too fast for me, I am not very nimble with computers.

Go onto the Embird site and the FAQ section to answer your questions more fully. You need to purchase the Embird Editor/Manager suite first and then you can buy the additional modules when you need them. I recommend the Iconizer for a start, and Studio (which is the main digitising element). Would suggest you download the full trial version and play around for a month. You won't be able to save the designs, but you will see how easy it is to run. To buy the software you pay and are then emailed a registration number. Embird are really generous on updates too - unlike Husqvarna!
