First one - advice if this is OK. Not sure if the size is correct 9 1/2" square. Backed with waffle weave 100% cotton but think it makes the taggie too thick and not 'pliable' enough.

I never thought of fingers getting caught in these loops. I'm glad it was mentioned because we are expecting our first grandchild in September. I guess you could sew the tabs down the center to close them up. Just a thought. I love this!

I learn so many things on here. Now I know what a taggie is. I agree to cut the loops though.

This is really cute but I too have never heard of taggies. Guess it's like cuddling a blanket. *4U

Elizabeth. This is very sweet. Taggies can be any size. But a word of caution instead of looped tags you might want to cut them, they were considered dangerous because babies little fingers were getting tangled up. (something I would have never thought of)... And of course I LOVE the color you used. My favorite color is Green and pink of course. Well done.

Some of these loops on the taglets I saw on the internet were much longer. I thought about the "danger" and decided to make them as short as possible so don't think I'll cut these. Would think up another with "flaps" instead of "loops" Thanks for the idea.

this is darling... I think you can make these any size.. you could even do a blanket with lots of tags.. My kids wore out all the tags on their blankets.. great job.

It's very pretty with the ribbon colors and all but I am not sure what a Taggie is for. Is it just for a little one to play with?

This new to me to. I attended a baby shower and these were a gift. On investigation - it's a comfort blanket size of a face cloth, made of soft fabric and satin ribbon which apparently baby rubs for comfort.
