DeeDon, normally you will see a colorchart file under the place that you can download - but on these speical gifts - they are some times not there - but if you just use your own color sense - you will be please with how your designs stitch out - try it and see. WELCOME to the CUTE family - please share items that you have stitched out in the PROJECT section of this site. We all get inspired by others work. *4U Shirlene

I love to find and use designs but have to admit that I have never, ever used the 'recommended' colours!!! 1).. I usually don't enough variety of coloured threads to follow thread schemes .... and 2).. I just like to do my own thing where colour is concerned.
Sometimes I do follow the colours suggested in the original design but seldom have the exact thread or the exact colour.
Working out what colours you'd like to use in a design is part of the creative process and many digitisers advise us to use our own colour scheme.
You won't be breaking any rules or laws if you go ahead and please yourself what colours you use. Just look carefully at the sequence of a design before you go ahead and stitch and choose the colours appropriately.
