They both look beautiful. I have looked at both to make but unsure at this stage. This is wonderful inspiration.

Thank you Loretta. The design for the mat came from Chantell's Creations, she has
loads of similar designs on her web site.

These are very nice - The box is especially lovely. And just big enough for them to keep special treasures in.

Both are lovely. I haven't tried purses or boxes. Now you make me want to try. :)

Pat, my oh my - what lovely work you do. Did you have any trouble stitching up that box? I have the peacock box and haven't started it - because I am worried I will mess it up with the assembly. Hehehe! Hey, now where did you get that cute mat? *4U

Shirlene. First of all, the design for the mat came from Chantell's Creations.
What I did when I assembled the box was
to join all the sides but left the last
one open. Then join the bottom of the sides to the hexagon. When it comes to
doing the final bit, you hold your breath
or say a prayer, whichever suits you!!
and butt the sides together and go slowly
but mind your fingers. It gets easier as
you make many more !!I join them by an overlock stitch.Pat
