I've been using Wilcom TruSizer and Pulse Ambassador, but for some reason, when I transfer to the USB to put it in the machine, as part of the conversion the file extension is .exp.wcn and the USB does not recognize it. Anybody ever have this problem and know what to do about it?

I have a Deco340. I use the Bernina Embroidery Software ARTlink to convert any format toe EXP which is the format used by the Deco340. You select your machine as Deco340 and convert/write to your USB stick. The programme saves in an EmbF folder - 2 files an EXP and an INF. The "INF" file is the picture and colours so that you can see it on your machine. The programme is available as a free download on the Bernina site. Hope this helps. I have a 340. All you do is put your usb stick in your machine. Let it read the usb stick. after that put it in your computer and open it up. you will see the embf5 file. put the exp files into it without opening it. it works great. also i have a 630. and i can use it in this one also. I hope this helps. Sherry from PA

I found the answer on SewForum. You need to use the Explorations sizer and convert the file to exp using Explorations. I figured out that when you put a USB stick in the machine it creates a folder emb5f.

first on your usb, open a new file embf5; then transfer your design for your sewing machine, don't add but one or two designs, it will take your sewing machine to long to read. I use Explorations for this machine. Also, I download pes or art only for this machine. hope this helps. Annie

If you are able to change the format, try saving the design as a PES format. I think that is one that works with it too
