If so, was there a reason you picked one over the other? Was it because you preferred Babylock over Brother (or vice versa)? Was it because there was a feature on a model you could not live without (and that was not on the other model)? Was it money (which I understand, as there is quite a dollar spread between the top of the line and one under it in either brand)? I am considering upgrading and the machines are basically the same at the same level of machine (biggest difference is Disney vs. Nancy Zieman special designs) and both brands are available to me locally. I value your feedback.

I loved my Ellegante and want it back. I now have an Elissimo and will not give it up. I learned the hard way and the expensive way to buy the best machine you can aford with the most features. It is better to have more machine than you need than wish you had paid the money for a better machine. Concerning Disney vs. Nancy, check to see if you can use one or both on items for sale. If you do buy a Babylock machine (all of my machine are) be sure to buy the Gold Standard (warranty) with it. Even cleanings as well as repairs are included. Both use the Pes format which is 1 of the most common formats used. I find this to be a good feature that most people do not think about. Test drive both machines and see which is a better fit for you.

Thanks for your input. I have seen all of them but not yet asked to stitch on them myself - probably should try to do that....

I was drawn to my BL Ellisimo over the Quattro because of the Gold Standard warranty. My dealer included that in the sale price and let me tell you, it has come in handy MANY times.

I'd definitely go with the Ellisimo over the Ellegante 2 because of the camera technology. Makes it a life saver when you're using the machine for embroidery or wanting precision stitiching. I believe BL is offering 36 months interest free financing, so get the latest and greatest you can afford. You'll love it!!!!

Thanks for your feedback. Both Babylock and Brother are offering free financing right now.

I have a Ellegante2 and love it - I wouldn't mind having the Ellisimo, but I just don't have the money to purchase it. I did upgrade from an Ellure - when I got the Ellegante2 and it was the feature difference and the quality of stitching that pushed me to make that purchase - so I understand - when one wants a machine for the features - if money allows the purchase. Have fun and enjoy using you new machine.
