That's a great idea. I use adhesvive when I do the applique, and I sure do not like that to spray off the fabric. I put the fabric in a little box, and spray down in it and away from my machine. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you! Your timing couldn't have been more perfect! I have a project I need to work on and I've been trying to figure out how to use the spray without sprayimg EVERYTHING.

I'm going to try this next time I need to use my adhesive spray. I usually do it out in the garage, then run like a demented bunny to get in the house & onto the project before it dries. At 59 & 1/2, it's getting hard to run even like a demented bunny. So this may work, but only in the kitchen or laundry room. My adhesive spray doesn't get near my machine or hoops, ever! Thanks for repeating the hint, Nurse lilly, and for your take on it, Cutiepie. Luv, Marji

A plastic shopping bag would probably work ok, but I find that a brown paper sack is easier for me to work with because it has greater stability and support, thus it doesn't collapse on top of my project.

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention this. If you get the adhesive spray on your hoop, regular rubbing alcohol works well to wipe it off with. I use those cotton cosmetic pads, dampen them well, and take all the sticky off quick as a wink.
