Hey, Cutiepie, are you OK with those twins and all? Haven't seen you around for a bit. Just checking, hope you're just busy sewing. Marji

Great to have you back! Sorry about the pain, know how that is with weather, but I have *old* bones, girl. Sorry about your computer, too, bummer. Pretty bad when your 'lifetime' warranty expires...LOL. Take care of those babies, & yourself. Marji

I'm back (Finally!) Saying "computer problems" just doesn't even cover it. I was charged over $160 for what was supposed to be covered by the lifetime warranty. =[ But now, aside from the extreme pain I am feeling in my 10-years-ago broken pelvis due to the multiple storms rolling in here, the twins and I are doing pretty well.

The pain is from the storms, ie. arthritis-y stuff; the broken pelvis was from falling off a balcony, in case anyone was wondering. *big grin* I can grin about it now because I'm still here.

Great to have you back. Apparently EVERYONE missed you. Hope the storms soon subside and your pains with them.

Cutiepie - here's a flower to welcome you back - I've missed you and am so pleased to hear that you and the twins are doing well. So sorry about your extreme pain though, it's bad enough with the aches, pains and kicking of pregnancy without any added pain, plus the $160 pain to get your computer fixed! And I don't want to know how you fell off a balcony, but I just hope you were sooooo drunk that you didn't know about it until it was all over!!! HaHa! Joking aside, hope the weather improves and your pain eases soon. Take care and keep well, good to hear from you.

I know you said that you didn't want to know, but here is the story anyway. =] There was no alcohol involved in my accident. Just a heavy dose of what has been called "boy scout syndrome," othewise known as the overwhelming urge to help someone with a problem and going to the extent that your own health/safety is in jeopardy. This all took place on a semester abroad in Spain. My friend took a late shower and was locked out of her room in the co-ed dorm at midnight, with nothing more than a small towel and short robe. After trying several things to get her back inside her room, someone came up with the "brilliant" idea of rapelling over the balcony and into her open window. I honestly don't know why I agreed to try it (I was the one with the most mountaineering experience but apparently not enough common sense), but for some reason I was the one to go over the edge. Stupidest move was to not carefully check the equipment I was borrowing. The guy who loaned it to me was a newbie and was using a cotton or cotton-blend rope. If you know anything about climbing, you will know that is a HUGE error; the rope should be 100% nylon. Anyway, the rope shattered and I fell aproximately 40 feet onto the cement patio. Don't do this at home! It HURTS!! Probably the most ironic part of the whole thing is that I seem to be fairly fluent in Spanish if I am semi-conscious and potentially dying (I could explain to the doctors in the hospital what happened and all that), but now that I am (mostly) whole again, I can hardly remember anything. =D

Ouch Cutiepie!!! That's some story. 40 feet - so pleased you lived to tell the tale, otherwise we would never have *met* each other.

I am shocked she didn't lose the babies, or was this so long ago - that she didn't have them, yet? HHHHHHHmmmmmmmmmm!

Great minds think alike Marji (or it that fools seldom ... no, definitely not!), I was going to ask if anyone knew where Cutiepie had disappeared to. I've missed her too, it must be best part of a week since we've seen her, do so hope that she is doing okay. If you manage to contact her jrob, please let us know and tell Cutiepie that I miss her and her chatter dreadfully.

sent her a direct email and will report when I hear, or perhaps she will just come here directly herself.

Thanks for that jrob.
