Non sono sacchi ma sacchetti (o piccole borse) con uno o due manici, fatti di carta o cartoncino o di stoffa. Si usano per mettere dentro il regalo che si porta alla persona cui si regala il tutto. Probabilmente vuole ricamare un lato del sacchetto con questo bellissimo disegno natalizio!

I had made my sister a nativity set from a freebie design of free standing lace. Then I see this. Wow. I purchased a cloth placemat (red) then embroidered this design in the center, using silver and gold matelic thread. Turned up about 3 inches at the bottom and made 4 vertical seams through both layers of the "hem". One on each end of the placemat and the other two dividing the placemat into 1/3's. Folded it into thirds and now her Nativity scean has this really cute storage folder. The piceses fit into the pockets that were created by the seams. used a bit of red ribbon to make ties to close it up with. Will try a get a picture and post on projects. Thanks so much for this beautiful design.

Actual size is 5.64" x 5.86" or 143.3 mm x 148.8 mm.
