Sanjoy, sounds like a nice idea to me, to have one voting day where new alphabets were not able to be voted for, just the older ones, so people could make up what they missed if they can't afford a membership. I don't know anything about managing these websites, but maybe that would be just too hard to do, take too much time? Maybe you could contact Veronika, the site owner, with the idea. I am a member, too, but I'd help people vote in their letters, as long as we don't get into that 'send it to me free' nonsense again. I think the price of the site is so reasonable I'm not sure why anyone would not be a member, but then, I too have been in a position where $ was so tight I couldn't do it. I think it was a kind idea, sanjoy, and a good suggestion. Here's a flower, and have a very nice day.

I am starting to think that it is not a good idea to ask for everyone else as the over tones that i got from this wasn't nice. I don't want to see the demanding for free letter to start again either, thats why I lost it in the first place, but it did calm the site in the end.There are a lot of girls that are struggling and have low incomes that would love to have a membership and would do so if they could, (I was one of them) and so they have to be happy to get the free ones and a lot are grateful for that but I dont like the tone that I got from my "just a thought" for me trying to do something nice for someone else, so if the girls want it they can ask them selves. It would have given them a chance to catch up and there would be no need for the list, they could be responsible for getting the new ones and not be so far behind. They probably need a couple of days for all the time zones. I was just trying to find a way how we could help the girls with catching up. Thanks for every thing. Sandra from Australia.

Sandra, thanks. It's hard to please everyone, and it's hard when you are writing on the computer for people to know your meaning sometimes. We forget we speak different languages, have different accents, different slang words for things, and some use translating programs. We can't infer things from our 'tone of voice' because words on a page are our only voice here. We try our best, and sometimes are still misinterpreted. That will probably always happen, but I hope we can all be woman enough to say, oh, I misread that, or that's not what I meant without being nasty. So I'll go and get all philosophical on everyone, and then I'LL go and have a PMS day (even though the "M" is long gone) and crab about something, lol! Guess it's human nature, Sandra. 33451I think it's a good idea. Maybe if they extended the time between new fonts and old there would be more time to get missed letters. I think some forget that this is a business and offering the free designs is a bonus. The membership price is more than reasonable or you can buy individual missed letters. I bought a membership and am more than happy with it. Now I miss nothing and can download when it's convenient.

I know, my boss did something similar, and it nearly put his business under! Fortunately, Designs by Sick is still around and I still have a great part-time job. =]

Well thanks girls, it was only an idea. I was thinking of all the girls that didn't have all the letters and couldn't afford them, I thought I was helping asking for a list and then I was trying to help all the ones that were getting the free ones. For Roberta and everyone else I have a membership and I am voting for the letters you want and then yes there are new people on the site, what sort of example are they getting when someone is giving off agro to someone that is trying to do something nice for someone else.
158553Sure, all you have to do is buy into the membership and you can download all you want in one day. i did, and have renewed it again. that way i miss no letters. makes sense to me. and if you do miss the letters you can get them anytime when you buy into the membershipl. you people need to get a grip! roberta

We have been nice, I think, and voted for everyone, but have you noticed how the list has grown? I first visited the site same month as you and bought a membership a month later. And am I happy! All those beautiful design just one click away.
