How about cutting out the picture of the design and placing it on your different colored fabrics to see what you like best?

89895I was thinking black also and sashing them in some pretty christmas or winter design. Depends on who you are making it for also. sure a little girl of 4 or 5 probably wouldn't want black maybe some thing in a light to med purple. Good luck. hugs and flowers to you all.

I want to do one letter on each square and put a Christmas fabric between each square. I am checking tomorrow. Thanks for your help

I never thought of gold. I will take the picture with me. My tree is purple and white. some gold also thanks
