Coasters are great fun to make! They are easy too. There are a couple nice free designs at:

http://www.secretsof.com/content/...

Scroll down the page to get to the freebies. They come with instructions, and as others have already mentioned, EL has great instructions too!

Have fun!!!

Hi, Puppyjo, I love your nickname. The gals are right, Embroidery Library has instruction videos, and Designs by SiCK is great, too. Good luck, Marji

Hi, puppyjo, I found a great informational link.

I think you will benefit from this, I know I have.

Most patterns you purchase or receive as freebies will have instructions available, either online or inclosed. Happy sewing

puppyjo, welcome and I've sent you a flower. Can I just ask if you want to know how to digitise a coaster design, or how to make a stitched out design into a coaster - perhaps maybe doing it all-in-the-hoop? Not sure which way you mean. If you want to digitise, what software do you have.

You can see an actual video showing how to make coasters as bkd says at Emblibrary site. Here is the link: http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/elpr...
They also sell some slip coaster designs. I made some awhile back, but don't remember where I got the designs, but I'm sure you can locate some on your favorite sites. Luck to you! ;)
