I tried to download the B freebie, but I get a message that windows can not open because I don't have permission. What does that mean. I thought it was free.

Even if you are logged in, I have found that you may not be able to download the daily freebie if you click on the picture that looks like the freebie of the day. So, make sure that you click directly on the link that says, "click image to download" below the picture, to get to the page that will allow you to download the freebie.

Oh, excellent! I hadn't even considered that might be the problem. It is great to have "new eyes" to look at problems. You get so many different approaches. Hope on of them works!

Thanks for the complement, Marji! I do try. =] One thing that you can try, Chrystie, is to right-click on the link and choose to "Save Target As" instead of just clicking on it. It really does sound like an authorization problem with your computer and not something from the site here. You are trying to "save" and not "open" from the download page, correct? If you are trying to "open" it directly from the site, your software might be having a translation problem.

Chrystie, first make sure that you are logged on to the Cute Alphabets site, sometimes if you log on thru Cute Embroidery you have to do it again in Cute alpahbets. It's a computer mystery. But I think your problem is in the way you have your computer configured. Are you on your home computer, or at work? Are you using XP or Vista? I think it's your computer not giving you permission, not Cute Alphabets. Maybe CutiePie can help you better, she's more computer savvy than I am. Good Luck, Marji
