I made this for my grandd. for her dedication ceremony @ church 4 years ago. It was made from a pattern called Heavenly Bliss and I didnot have an embroidery machine @ the time so it was all stitched by hand. I afterward found a H.Bliss emb. c.d. @ Home Sew or Newarkdressmaker and ordered it when I got my emb. machine. Haven't used the machine designs yet. Sure could have helped back then. Thought you Cuties might enjoy seeing. Toogie ps I removed my personal photo

There is another photo of dress on Projects that I wanted to post instead of her crying, but this photo does show her dress hem under her pinafore better. She did not like the bonnet, can't you tell.

beautiful dress.. you did a great job.. I can remember one dress I made one of my granddaughters.. she called me on the phone after church one sunday and said Grandma you left a pin in the dress and it stuck me in church today.. I said that was me.. telling you to pay attention.. we both laugh at that pin in the dress to this day and she is now 17.. maybe you left a pin in this dress too..

Thank you very much. I worked every spare minute until my neck just burned from looking down so much. I finished the gown on Thursday night b/4 the dedication Sunday and was pressing it the Friday morning when my daughter and husband said "Aren't you going to make the bonnet?" I wasn't but I did, for all the good it did. She did wear it while she slept through church but when she awoke it had to go. ha ha

Thank you but I am just like everybody else, no difference. This kind of sewing is what I like to do, though . Thanks for looking and brining it up again.
