doesn't it always happen like this:YOU

Have a big show coming up,
Spend hours sorting and digitizing just the right designs to fit the occasion
spend even more time picking out all the articles and lining them up for an assembly line run because even though you had weeks to prepare you have waited until the last couple of days to start
and then "POP" what was that noise coming from inside your machine!!!
UGH!!!!
Repairman is only open wednesday thru friday and is over an hour away one way!!
I call hoping against hope that there might be something I can do, he is nice enough to walk me through a few things, none of which work and tells me the best case scenerio is $75.00 and a 2 days in the shop!!! That is the best that could happen, I just crawled inside the corner of my room and pouted for a hour or so.
I know most of you have been down this road before so I guess I just wanting to cry on some shoulders, Boo Hoo

You have my sympathy. My machine was having a serious temper tantrum and it had to go to the local shop to show what it can do. What a stressful day wondering if it would even embroider, let alone complete a project. And of course as soon as it arrived home, it embroidered like a dream with few thread breaks since. Go figure.

So sorry to hear machine is having problems. think your situation falls under Murphy's Law, but think most of us have been there at one time or another.
Who is your repairman? Just curious, from one Hogfan to another (Little Rock).

I used to use Art messler at the Busy Bobbin in Conway and he retired in May so now I am going to take it to a guy in Heber springs.
Great season coming up for our football boys!!

It seems our machines always want to take a vacation when something important is coming up. I guess it's their way of handling the stress. Mine is just curl into fetal position, cry like a baby! Good luck on getting things done for your show. Carol

It seems that August is embroidery machine problem month, a few of us have posted our problem. My repair man is 2 hours BUT if yours is good it is worth the drive and the hassles. I too leave my sewing to the last minute and am stuck at the moment. Its frustrating. Hope you can solve the problem sooner rather than later*2u

Oh my goodness - I understand - that happened to me a few years back - if you have a good sewing center - they may allow you to take out a loaner. Ask you just never know. Good luck dear - hope you can get some rest from the stress.

I will look into a loaner they might just do that too because they know how far I live from them. As I said in an earlier post thugh I don't know how good they are kind of scared really there are 2 men that do the repairing one just atarted about 3 months ago UGH! and the other knows alot about sewing machines but not 100% with embroidery machines.

So sorry that this happened. My machines always break on the first day of a 3 or 4 day long weekend - know the feeling well. Does not make it any easier to accept though, I will give your a star instead.
