I did not want to take away from the front side so I just did redwork on the back with girls, boys, flowers, and butterflies. ITS FINALLY DONE!!

I have never gotten into redwork, but this is beautiful...think I might just go ahead and start collecting it anyhow....Really nice job,,,,,,

Very good idea. It's actually a reversible quilt. Never would have thought of that. Your fabric pictures came out very well. Very nice work. Hang with pride.

Thank you. I am pleased with how it turned out. Not a lap quilt but it tells my family story. :)

Almost a year. Had to go through 40 years of pictures. Decide how to show my family history, calculate fabric, etc. Only took about a month to actually sew together. I could only work on it on weekends since I work.

Thank you. So glad it turned out. First quilt I have done without a pattern. Thought I'd go crazy figuring the fabric amount. LOL

It's beautiful, both front and back! Is the Cotton theory a sort of quilt as you go method? I seem to remember reading the name before.

Thank you. Yes, it is a quilt as you go. The seams that you use to connect add so much detail. I love using it.
