This font is being used by a photography studio that is interested in having some shirts embroidered.

My lovely 16yr old D was talking to them and informed them i might be able to help them out...
Well I'll have to give her a lesson on embroidery to show her how hard it is to find some designs LOL...

Any help will be appriciated.

Try www.embroiderydesign.com, under fonts/alphabets pages 3, 8 & 10. Better get Google AdobeCaslon Italics font video.

Both these designs need to be done in minimum 6 x 10 hoop, and that is with one set of letters only .52" high and the other is only .61" high.

Please note that I do not digitise business logo's for free any more as it is a tax deductible expense for them and I know that some digitising companies charge upwards of $100 just for artwork, then the cost of digitising & embroidery is on top of that. My fees are minimal and I believe reasonable.

Would a close match be good enough? I am almost positive I have something similar but I will have to search through over 5,000 fonts to find it.

Hi Meganne, yes she said a close match would be great, after i explained i may not be able to match it exactly. 5000 fonts WOW i probable ony have 150-200 at the most.

I used to work in IT and wrote a lot of presentations, websites and stationery. I still create stationery & greeting cards. I collect them like everyone else collects designs.

OK, I'm only down to the G's but have already found five possible matches.
Even found a match for the fancy PG.

NOW, there is no guarantee that this font will digitise properly.

I need to know the exact size of the letters. Height of say the lower case letters t; h; a; p

and the total length of the three words all together.

Then the height of the fancy P & G.

It would be better if you email me and send me the actual photo if you have one of their stitched out logo

BUT I must stress, it needs to be the proper size to start with because I can't just increase or decrease the letters sizes, they have to be completely re-digitised every time they aren't right.

I just had a quick look on the net. It does not appear to be a free font. One of the sites quoted $AUD42 for the font. So, I am not sure if there is anyone who can digitise it for you, unless they are willing to buy the font.
Sorry.

Hi all,
I thought I would load a picture of the design incase you are wondering what it looks like.
It is the 3 words "Platinum Glamour Photography", that i need, as i have the P & G it is Edwardian Font which i bought from Embroidery Font Shop.

If anyone would be able to digitse the 3 words I am quite willing to pay for them to be done.

If i can't find them before saturday evening I will tell them I can't do it, and that they shall have to go to an embroidery shop to have it done.

Wish me luck ;)
