Is anyone familiar with "Stitch era Universal" software? Any good bad or other comments?

I have it, and have used it to make several designs. One of them is posted here on Cute. It's called "A Fish" (clever title, huh?) You can import any .jpg, .wmf, and more into the program, then just design right on top. As others have mentioned, you can add to or combine designs also.

Definitely print (and read) the manual! They have a Yahoo group for support which the developers participate in. Very helpful.

I use it mainly for the lettering. I sometimes download a design and add lettering to it. Makes the stitching a one step process so I don't have to center the letters separately. I haven't had much luck with the auto digitizing. I've had to learn pretty much by trial and error because there's no instructions of any detail to help with the process. Well worth the money for just the lettering if nothing else. Good luck. Nanc

Thanks, I did get it and will load it this week end. The price was ok...didn't want to put alot of $$ into something.

I have it and use it mainly for resizing designs, but you can do lots of things with it, I am just not smart enough.****
