I used 100% cotton as a base material. The material and color are no limits posited. Let your Fantesie play. This doily can be make as cutwork or as an application. Cutwork: normal embroidery and cut the fabric at the end of the work (outside the border). As an application: on two layers of Water Soluble Stabilizer (for example, Wash Away / Vilene).
