This little bear cost 50p (75 cents) - I should have bought more than just the one, I wasn't thinking straight so I just hope they still have some left when I go back to the shop! I stitched the little egg onto tearaway stabiliser (no extra fabric) then tore away the excess and stitched it onto the bear's tummy by hand with matching thread, it really does look as if it's embroidered straight onto the bear! It looks lovely, Dianne, and what a great idea to sew on the design rather than opening the teddy, removing the stuffing, embroidering it and stuffing it again. I hope you can still get more of them at that low price!
