I created this applique design for a small kitchen towel as an Easter gift for my friend but it can be used for anything you like - I will also be using it on the Easter baskets I'm making for my granddaughters. As usual, the file is available as a free download on my website http://hands-and-heart.net78.net .
The scalloped border was stitched directly onto the towel using the inbuilt pattern stitches from my machine (a Janome MC5700.)
