I have had no reply to the e-mails and PMs I have send you. And I did take the time difference into consideration. It would be nice to get a reply, even if it is a negative!

PS. Just a thought, perhaps digitising Cuties should stop taking private requests for designs and we should go back to the way we have always done it.

If a Cutie is in need of a special design, they should post the request in Community, with a photo of what they want digitised, and then each Cutie who is capable and willing to do the design can accept the request, openly in community.

That way, once one digitising Cutie has accepted the request, everyone else backs off.

Then there is no doubling up, no competition and no hurt feelings.

Of course, if the requester is not happy with the digitised result, she should not be vilified for asking another more experienced digitiser to do it for her/him.<

I am, of course, talking about FREE digitising.

Anyone willing to PAY for digitising naturally has a right to ask the digitiser whose work they most admire.<

Does this sound fair?????<

Hugs n roses, Meganne

Shame on them, not on you for your generosity. Perhaps they don't understand how much time it takes to digitize something well. I know your work and it shows you take the time to do a good job and not just click auto digitize for a low quality design. I know it takes hours and sometimes days of working on a design to get it right. Keep up the good work.

shadoe, If it's me she is talking about, it has nothing to do with anyone saying thank you. SO, if you want to know what it's about:

She wants to do digitizing for people, I sent her a message asking her if she could do a medallion for me, and asked her how much it would cost. I don't expect anyone to do something for me for nothing. I always pay my way. I sent her a picture of it, but it was not the right kind. I just got the message from her this morning, 2days later asking for a different photo. I have to contact the guy for a new picture of it. I'm sorry that I couldn't sit on the computer all night to see if I get another message.

I have posted many times, a thank you to those that share their designs and talent with all of us.I don't try to be rude to people, several people posted about this without really knowing what went on, so now I hope everyone understands what it's about, so this is my last post on the subject.

THANK YOU for reading this. I no longer need this digitized.

Oh no; have not received any PM's so I'm sure it's not me. Maybe 'those ladies' have the memory problems shared by a lot of us. My hypothyroidism ran amuck with my memory, sadly.
Hope you feel better and less peeved.
Thank you for all that you do for the Cuties.

I am truly sorry you have been upset about all this. You do so much to help each of us members and quest and you are so talented, I thank you for everything. I hope I have not upset you or anyone in anyway. I do know that people are wrapped up this day in time, going here and there and everywhere, busy all the time and maybe they will get back to you soon. I sure hope none have had death or something drastic happen to them and you can hear back from them very soon. You are a very generous person and I enjoy so much the information and designs that you share and others share on Cute and personal sites that I hope you will be contacted soon and all will be worked out. A Kind deed and help needs to be appreciated more. I do appreciate you.

I truly hope your day gets better, don't let someones carelessness or inexperience wreck your entire day...please forgive some of us "newbies" blunders, as it really can be a little confusing (in fact I just today saw the post regarding Tutorials...so I'll be off educating myself this afternoon). Besides I want to believe that people can't really be that callous or rude intentionally when "begging" favors!!!! Have a better day ~Rita

I don't even know what happened and yet I am sorry that you are upset. I am in awe of all the talent that is so generously shared with others. Thank you and all the other "givers" from one of the no talent "takers".

My orginial post to you was two days ago.I work a full time job, I'm taking care of my daughter who just had surgery and getting her little one off to school every day. Keeping up with her housework and laundry. I have craft shows on the weekends. I just NOW got back here to get your message. I don't have the time to sit on the computer like a lot of others do. I would never get anything done. I'm sorry if I'm one of those who didn't answer your post. I guess I just don't have enough hours in a day to sit on the computer like I would love to do. AGAIN, I'm sorry for not getting back to you, but it has only been 2 days.

I,m sure the lady that does the digistiseing for you all is every bit as busy as you are.Yet she takes her special time to do for you.And thank you is almost a lost trait in todays world so I think if you can't take a min.to thank that person for being so kind and GENEROUS with her valuable time as valuable as yours so then don't ask for a favor. It takes just as much time to ask as it does to say THANK YOU!Jane

Sorry to hear you are having problems. I know most people really appreciate your help and generosity. Many people do not realize how to use the PM section and do not check it. I hesitate to put a reminder in the community since the last time I did that someone got rather vocal, and not in a pleasant way, about my reminder.

Why is everyone making so many excuses for people, if they can ask for a favor then surely they can figure out how to say thank you that doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out.I was taught to say thank you as a child. So Please be fair about this.

I am so sorry for you, I agree it would be nice of them to email even if you had not just to say something. Me personally have never asked anyone to digitze anything for me on any group forum or site, I just feel it is to much to ask of anyone. I am happy just to have the friendships and help with my questions is great, you know the old saying never take advantage of a friendship and you will have it for life.
I have seen some beautiful embossed name designs on another forum and the person was bombarded with request would have loved to ask but just was greatful to get some names I could use, hoping someday to learn myself, have been watching and listening to anyone that talks about digitizing also have purchased EM2 to start learning with, figure play with a cheaper program and upgrade from there. Just haven't had to much time right now to play with it, but soon I will move and have more time.

Thank you, all.
I know that one of them couldn't have had a PC problem. That person has been on Cute since I have send her the e-mail and a PM.And I know that person knows how to work the PM because that person send me a PM originally.
But you all know the saying, you give someone an inch and they will take a mile.
I am not sure about the other person.
If I have made a mistake and judged them unfairly, I will apologise.
But until then I will waste no more time on their designs.

I also understand this Ricky, I had someone PM me and ask me for J appliqué designs.
I went ahead and digitised some, but had asked her to email me as I like to keep records in my email Digitising folder so I don't forget them.

I know she is computer challenged and was waiting for her daughter, but then nothing.... so, I wasted a couple of hours searching for suitable fonts then digitising them into appliqué designs.

Sometimes, I can't help but wonder, if these requests are sent to other Cute digitisers as well, and rather than be up front, once they get what they want they are too embarrassed to tell the other digitiser that they have already had their design request fulfilled. And is this is the case then they should be ashamed!

OK, rambling again, just human nature I guess, it never has been a perfect world.

Hugs n roses, Meganne

OH I SO know where you are coming from, Ricky!

But take heart dear friend, sometimes there is a genuine reason for their silence, one of my recent no-answers turned out to have had a pc failure and couldn't get it repaired for three weeks.

And sometimes our emails go into Spam folders and get overlooked.

But I have decided I will no longer digitise for NEW Cuties, especially those who do not participate in community and therefore are not aware that we are not employed by Cute and that we are doing them a HUGE favour digitising designs for them for free.

NOT THAT THIS IS AN EXCUSE FOR SUCH RUDENESS!!!!

Hugs and more hugs dear friend, Meganne

Something to make you smile :-)

Adorable kitty! Hang in there. Everyone is different and some have never digitized, sewn, painted or embroidered for a living or for free. I no longer promise anything because I never know what tomorrow is going to be for me. It was a real hassel when I had a full time job and owned my own craft store also. Some people do not realized than anyone can be or has to be organized to get everything done. I have been there where every minute counted but now I take each day as it comes. Hugs to you both, Linda
