We had a racoon come into the garage where my 2 cats were living (my daughter is allergic to cats). The racoon actually 'taught' one of the cats to scape her dry food from the dish into the water side of the dish, and then scoop it out to eat it. (Racoons 'wash' their food.) After we locked the cat door, the cat continued with her food washing proceedure for a few months, and repeats that practice on occasion.
Your racoons are cute; make sure the pets are vaccinated for rabies, as racoons can carry rabies.

Looks like they have been well fed on your bird feeders! Glad you can catch them & relocate them! Even if cute, they can be a pain!!

Lovely pictures! In a way it's nice to have wildlife on your doorstep instead of in a zoo, but it can be a nuisance. I hope they don't find their way back to your house or you'll be catching the same ones over and over again.

They are very cute, but can be a real problem. We live in the country and had to start taking our birds feeder in at night, as they tore them up. Even would take them off the hooks and take them into the woods and the hunt was on to find them (feeders). They don't look mean, but they can be very dangerous. Be careful. God bless, Judy

Cute pictures. Thanks for sharing them. I will agree with you too that raccoons can get nasty when they feel threatened! Those little hands of theirs can open just about anything too !!
