When Lucy joined us she explained that she writes in Caps, because of her eye sight. I do not find Caps offense, however, some others may. I also do not want Lucy to feel unwelcome because of her eye problems. Thanks.

I feel the same as all the other people. No problem with the caps. Maybe I will be another to use it one day as I only have one eye that can see. I also know how bad it is if you cannot see. Without my specs I'm useless and cannot read a word. Lucy please stay with us and KEEP ON WRITING IN CAPS. LUV U. ANNATJIE

I have to confess that I often skip these "big" postings because they are not comfortable to read- capitals are not made for "flowing text" but I really do not call this a problem worth discussing.

By the way, do you know that you can switch your system/ monitor settings to a bigger or clearer display?
You can try this via start menu, settings, in german it is called "input-helper" and has an icon looking like a person in a wheelchair.
You can play around with different styles of contrast and find a setting which makes it easier to work with and shows pages more clearly.

It would be very kind of you to let Lucy know this--she may find it very helpful. I think anytime one of our "Cuties" is misunderstood that it is worth trying to help them. That was all I intended to do. H&*

Caps are fine with me. Maybe we all could write in caps from time to time to help them who can't see as well as others. I think i might be one of them some day soon maybe sooner then like to be. HUGS TO LUCY AND FLOWERS TO YOU ALL.

Bless your heart--I have heard about floaters. That must be miserable for you. I hate to admit this, however, I have put my glasses on top of my head, then run around the place trying to find my glasses. Haha!! H&*

I personally think that complaining about caps is so unnecessary. Spelling and punctuation are not always right-too fast fingers and whatever. We aren't being graded. Texting doesn't even use whole words all the time. I certainly print in all caps. Times change, and I think it's fine. doesn't make me feel like I'm being yelled at. I also find it easier to read. Nor do I. I think perhaps it was some of the newer members who did not realize this so now they are informed. I can remember doing the same when I first got my cp. Caps were easier for me to see. Didn't take my grand children long to set me straight & tell me to quit shouting at them LOL but for some it's the only way they can read them because of their eyesight. *

Lillian, how about these Grandchildren and their computer savvy. In the older days we taught them. Now they are teaching us. Haha!! I do pretty good with the black print, however, I find the blue hard to read. I have my nose up against the monitor. H&*

Thanks for sticking up for Lucy. I think CAPS are fine also. It's wonderful she can do what she does.
My father-in-law lost his eye sight and I know how hard he tried to live a normal life. We need to cheer her on and show her much support. God Bless, Judy *4U
