This is going to be a wonderful tribute to "Miss Loretta" and the sweet, kind person that she was to all! I am sure Shirlene will treasure this and it will be passed on through the generations. It is truely sad that Miss Loretta will not get to enjoy the beauty and the love poured into this beautiful piece but I am sure she was aware of how much she was loved by all. Shirlene has had so much to deal with over the last few months that I am sure she has been overwhelmed at times. I do hope that this beautiful quilt that ended up being made in her Mom's memory instead of given to her Mom, will remind her daily of how all of us felt about her "MOM"! May this be just a small part of her Mom's memories but an important part of letting her know how much everyone loved "Miss Loretta"!
You have done a wonderful job on this Deanna, although I have no idea how you find the time to do all that you do for everyone! Good luck, God bless, and you be rewarded for all the wonderful things you do for so many! Linda

Hi Deanna, I sent you my block last week so hopefully it will arrive shortly. I will wait patiently for your response. You are doing really well with the blocks so far, I have to get back into finishing a baby's quilt I started. The baby is here a bit unexpectedly early... 5 weeks early!!! Yes she & mum are both fine. The baby's name is Kelsey & she weighed 5lb 2oz... but was very long, 19" (which is what my daughter's boy was & he was 2 weeks early).
I will try to show piccies when I have finished it.
