by one. Also I'm wondering the same thing on unzipping designs. Is there a way to unzip the whole folder at once. I'm really hoping someone has some time saving tips. TIA.

I use Buzz Tools all the time and it will convert and unzip a page or an entire folder as well as a single design. Check the help features to describe how to do it. I find Buzz Tools very user friendly. Happy embroidering.

Here it again for Embird, with only a command it takes care of an entire folder. *

I, too, use Embird and save downloads into their own new folder. All can be unzipped at one time, and then all converted together at one time. Just by highlighting the list, they are treated as one design when you key the command. Does Buzz Tools let you do something like this?

You could try selecting the FOLDER containing the designs, rather than the designs themselves and see if that works. That's how it is done in Embird.

I use SewWhat Pro, and I can do a batch convert that will unzip and convert many zip files at a time. I DO have to click on each file within the one folder I keep all the designs that need to be converted and unzipped. I usually just hold down the control key and click on all the files, then drag them into the Batch convert window. Then when I click on Convert, it unzips and converts them all at once. Sometimes I will end up with 6 or 7 of the same file, because it has converted several formats. I just go through and delete all the duplicates. It sounds complicated when compared to some of what the Cuties have, but it's really an easy process and it works for me. LOL!

Waterlily, if all of the designs that you want to convert/unzip are together, you can hold your SHFT key, highlight the first one and while still holding your SHFT key highlight the last one and it will highlight all of the designs in between. Then drag the entire selection. This is a lot faster. You would use the CTRL key and select if the designs are not all together.

Why don't you just select the files that are in your embroidery format instead of doing all of them and then having to delete the ones you don't want? Again, a lot faster.

I am working with Vista and it unzippes a whole folder at once. I don't know anything about Buzz Tools. Maybe someone else will come along and answer your question.

Joye, I don't have Buzz Tools - so I do not know how it works - by my Palette program allows me to convert a whole folder at a time. I sure love that feature. And I do use a unzip called 7-zip that allows you to extract a whole folder at once and put it where ever you want it, too. Good luck, dear.
