I'm going to make some bandanas to raise money for the local Pet Protection over christmas - does any cuties know where I can get a "in the hoop pattern" either free or very "cheap" as these will be for a charitable cause I do not want to spend too much .., I have tried to make one out of fabric but it did not turn out very good so I'm gonna b safe & try "in the hoop"

Many thanks in advance to all Cuties

Moosebstitchin has In the Hoop dog bandanas. Not free, but not bad.

Oh, ok, now I understand the in the hoop part, anyway. I'd still need a lot bigger than 5x7 hoop for my Jamie, though, hee hee hee. These are cute, the way they go over the collar. I'd go for these at a charity sale, I think they'd sell well. Hugs, Marji

Yvonne, do you mean to make the entire bandana in the hoop? Sewing and all? Um, that would be a really big hoop. A bandana is nothing more than a square of fabric, different sizes for the size of the dog. I'd put a rolled hem, but you could use a small flat hem, or serge the edges if you have a serger. You could put a design in one corner, so that when you fold it in half to make the triangle bandana, the design is in front. For small dogs, you might consider finding cheap square table napkins, that way your 'bandana' would be made and ready to embroider. I apologize if I didn't understand your question properly, and gave you the totally wrong answer. Thanks for thinking of the animals, if it weren't for various humane organizations, I wouldn't have many of my cats! Hugs, Marji
