I mentioned this in response to another question, but I think the best thing is to make it it's own topic. I'd been watching the group for a while and thought I understood it before I decided to participate and post any questions and some freebies. Turns out, I did not understand everything. I read the tutorials, but that did not tell me some of the things I've learned from posts in recent days; and I don't read all the posts and comments (I'm supposed to be working :o). I'd love to see some instruction someplace.

Welcome, Anne! Anything that is not covered in the tutorials so far will hopefully be covered in the rules Veronika is writing. This site is about helping people with embroidery issues, first and foremost. That's why the community section was put here. Name-calling and finger-pointing is not permitted, and will be dealt with. If you see such things, please hit the "abuse" button, it will help us all. If you have any questions, or need help navigating the site, you may ask me and I'll help as much as I can. No question is 'dumb', because if we did not ask questions, how could we learn? And no one should have to be afraid of asking a question for fear of being bombarded with unkind comments. this is a wonderful site that i have been a member of for a while just hang in there and it will get better i promise u that the people here are very loving and caring but of coarse there is always someone upset about something we cant change that and if we are all PMSing at the same time lol forget it

Thanks Anne for your input. Veronika is working on some changes to this site which will hopefully incorporate a set of guidelines posted on either the homepage of CUTE or on a separate tab. Haven't heard which way she'll take it, but she does recognize the urgency in the matter.

Additionally, name calling, sarcasm and aggressive language is NOT permitted on this site and I encourage you to use the "abuse" button when you see inappropriate postings. The site owner is currently finding moderators for CUTE which will solve a lot of the problems immediately.

Hang in there Anne... Veronika is doing her best to clean up the community. :-)

Thanks Teri for letting me know that changes are in the works. I hesitated to say what I did and did not want to point fingers; did not think about the abuse button (still learning ;)). I appreciate your support.

Please send any suggestions to Veronika personally (you can Private Message "Test"). She is considering all input and really trying to change the direction this site has unfortunately gone at times.

She had Marji type out some tutorials, but unfortunatley they get burried... I think at this point they need to be reviewed and posted where others can see. I think your skills Anne would be greatly used here... thank you for offering your services. :-) I'm sure Veronika will be very pleased! :-)
