Shadoe, I was wondering too but The "I" is up today. I checked every other hour today because I was afraid to miss one letter of this very Turtely alphabeth wich we all like and none of us want to miss any letter. Hope you find you "I" today.

63109Shadoe, it's not about asking a question. You can ask anything of us about embroidery, sewing, an opinion on a project you're doing, absolutely anything that we can answer. The Cuties are all very helpful. But if you ask for information that none of us can possibly know, that we are not responsible for, then you will always be frustrated. It's kind of like getting upset with the grocery checkout girl because she can't tell you why the manager doesn't stock the kind of cereal you want. And Shadoe, the only label you will have at Cute is any label you choose to put upon yourself. I don't know what kind of mean, catty groups you belong to, but this is not one of them. Please be assured your input is always welcome, and so are your sewing questions. I do so hope you'll take advantage of what we DO know, because I'm amazed with this Community how much that is!! 145789Shadoe, I think what you are reading as 'defensive' is just support of Veronika and her websites, gratitude for all she gives to us. And that's what you're going to get if you ask questions like you asked here, because WE certainly can't answer them, only the site owner can. This is only a Community, we have no special access to the 'why' of anything on the site, just experience of how it normally works. Sometimes everything doesn't work 'normally' once in a while. I have found in my life experience that very often people ask "why isn't (or is) somebody doing something" of other people, instead of asking the only person who knows, the person who is doing it. It will always be frustrating to do that, because no one knows but the person. You may think it was only a question, that's how you meant it. But when you ask a question of people who can't possibly know the answer, then it comes off sounding like a complaint, and that's why you got the reaction you did. Cute Alphabets has changed the letter every day regularly since they've been up, you noticed one slip up. If you really want to know why, you'll have to ask the site owner, who is the only one who knows. I'm sorry if what you meant as a question came off as a complaint, but you can't get an answer from people who don't know. I hope you get all the free letters, as you're obviously checking regularly, because that Turtle alphabet is so cute! Best of luck to you, Marji

33451this seems to me like a once off error, Cute 99% of the time changes alphabets daily, hang in there as tomorrow we will get the next letter. We NEVER miss out. Must be a glich....Have a lovely day shadoe....
25546I know this does not answer your question and I do not have an answer to what you asked but I do have a comment! I am just glad that Cute is not like like most of the other sites! I'm glad they are very different in a good kind of way. This group, although it is usually very prompt does allow for some personal and private moments with family and friends and allows for illness when it happens. Each and every one of us have those days that things just do not get done for some reason or another. We have had some very bad lightening around here today and I got a very late start on my computer. I would rather lose a day than a computer system. I am sure that if there is something really wrong that she will get someone to post these fonts for her. She does have a 7 day a week/24 hr. a day job. I would not have her job for all the money in the world. Of course, I could not do her job either!

Good comment! We all need a breather once in a while. I just hope Miss Veronika is not ill! I was ill for 3 days and could hardly move. On the Cute sites, we usually get a new letter each day, instead of once a mo or a week. Hats off to Veronika!
