computer or to embroider it onto anything, unless you have bought it from a dealer with permission to sell it. I realize this is an international forum, but, a lot of new US embroiderers may not know or understand that even free is ILLEGAL.

They might be illegal in the US, but be aware copyright laws are not the same for all countries so what can be completely illegal for U.S. can be fine for people in Russia, France and so on, etc.. You just have to be careful and conscious about it

I went , I looked, and I left. Very cute but illegal. Why have any designs in files that youcan't use? Be careful with such designs.

It all depends on where in the world you live.

Thank you so much.
I did not dare to spoil the party- but you are so right! The big foot mouse is called "Diddl" and I am sure, that it is not legal to use it this way- in every part of the world.
On my hunts through the internet I find many sites with "Bob the builder", "Disney" or "tiny toons" characters, cracked Brother or Pfaff embroidery cards and so on.
I would never post that!
Digitizing is such a hard job and the artists have a right to be payed for their work.
Please respect copyright.
Thank you auntie for this post.
