I'm making these for my son to give to his friends at preschool. There will be a dozen by the time I'm done, but here are four of them. They are sewn out on white felt and the other side says "Merry Christmas 2008" and the child's name. They are about 4 inches in diameter.

Lovely idea, Cutiepie! Your son's friends will love these! You deserve a bunch of flowers... being a mother of three little ones you're still able to think of others!

The ornaments are lovely, nice to have names and dates on the back as well. Good to see you have (or rather make, I think) time to do something creative. There are times you feel only the mother of xxx and now and again the wife of yyy and forget who you are, at least that's what I most vividly remember about the time my 4 were small. Happy Christmas to you!

Cutiepie, cute - nice to see a project from you - did you digitize these?

I did some of the digitizing, and some are purchased designs that I combined for the ornaments. The tree and gingerbread man are both from "Adorable Applique" but I didn't do the applique part on the tree. I made the borders myself (the one that is on three of them is a mock hem-stitch and the other is curly-ques).

I am making myself take the time to do these things that I love because being mommy to three boys ages three and under has kind of overwhelmed me. I need to remind myself that I am still an individual!

A Happy Mommy is the BEST mommy....don't neglect yourself, dear.;)

Gee, I didn't know that three little boys had that much power to take away your individuality - you take care of yourself. for them, too!
