I have reached the thousand flower milestone in the past day and that's exciting once you get started in the group ! :-) I appreciate everyone's help and advice as a newbie to the machine embroidery world. The posted photo is from a princess design set I bought---I'll try to find the www address. I wanted the shoes to be pale pink, but I think the pale pink on the unbleached muslin just blended in too much. Next time, I'll go with a brighter color. I plan to make a few shoe bags for relatives that travel.

Oh, Roslyn, I KNOW ! My feet would not be able to survive 5 minutes in heels like this ! They are cute, though. :-) A * for you.

Ann, great job and CONGRATULATIONS on your milestone of 1000 flowers - two big things at the same time - this is a lovely design and I am sure it looks wonderful and would work well on a shoe bag, just like it is - but if you want to change it up and you feel it will improve it - by all means do so - that is what is wonderful about embroidery work - the next time it is stitched - you make a new and wonderful item.
