Good Morning Cuties, I want to try doing some FSL xmas ornaments and want to put names on them.Can I add a name on them, or will it mess up the design? Thank you all so much!

decide what u want to do. With my SW I add the name to the design & everything stitches out beautifully. I would do one 4 a sample & see how it turns out. then go from there. I have learned the hard way to do a sample of anything I change or add to before going into the project. *4U Cindy

you can do it by either to ways,

1. Edit the design on a digitizing software if you have one by adding the name to the design and saving it as a new design.
2. Stitch your fsl and then without removing from the hoop stitch the name on top. (just make sure that you have right placement) and it should come out fine.

dgrammy, I have not done a name, I did add some (2) small initials to small FSL heart earrings, and It worked just fine. I would say just try one. Hugs and aflower.
