I think he is 99 x 144 mm, which makes him fit a 5 x 7 inch hoop

Lovely, cute bear. Thank you so much. But the dimensions stated aren't right, fortunately, that would mean wider than my sewing room. My software states 98.8mm(w) x 143.8mm(h). I think you input the mm-measurements as inches.
