Late posting this card because I saved it to the wrong folder - silly me. (I had to search to find!!) I made this one using the same principles as the other two cards. The verse inside reads: So sorry for your loss, Caring thoughts are with you in your sorrow. The embroidery does not show up at all well - you wouldn't know it, if I didn't tell you, that the centre flower is a lilac & mauve rose (not royal blue.) I think perhaps the Church is too dark for the delicate embroidery, a bit of a failure, I should have left it hidden in the wrong folder. Oh well, you can't win 'em all can you? Luckily I had time to replace it for one of the others I have posted. :-) :-)

Thank you Adelmarie. Had eye surgery 2 weeks ago, but I don't think that had anything to do with it I still prefer the other two cards :-) :-)

I know I have problems with my camera & the blue/purple range, too. I tried to take photos of a flower arrangement, the colours came out so different! But I'm not sure the church is too dark for the embroidery. This may not have been your original vision, but I do like the way it turned out. I'd purchase it. You do beautiful work! Marji

I admit Marjialexa, the card for real, does look better than the photo'. Don't know why the purple colour range should be a problem but, it always is - camera operator trouble I shouldn't wonder :-)
Thank you for your nice comments.

I think the meanest person you know is yourself. It is a very nice card. Not the best card, but you can't out do yourself every time. You are an artist, but don't be too critical of yourself. I would buy this card.

Thank you, you're very kind Anna. I still think the Church in the background is too prominent. Maybe a grey colouring?

I don't think it is a failure. I think it is a very wonderful and caring thought. Whoever receives it, will appreciate the love it took to make this card. Thank you for sharing it. This is the first one I see, of the cards you just post, and I like the idea a lot.
