Is the butterfly free standing and how can I tell?

Yes it is, all the designs on the lace area are FSL.

Yes it is FSL. I made up the flower, ladybug and butterfly and made them into fridge magnets. Sold them at the Farmers Market and gave a couple away on lg sale. I should have made more since they were a HUGE hit.
