So who watched the Opening of the Olympics?

Missed the actual opening, but saw a lot of the parading of the different countries. Yes, I saw Israel, Africa, but you know what, I even missed the USA.

Here in South Africa, it started at 2 pm, so my DH and I sat and watched the whole thing. It was amazing! Their ideas were incredible and spectacular. Love watching certain events like the gymnastics, swimming and diving. *4U

Not very often, just too busy with other things. Hugs and a flower.

I cheated. I recorded it to watch later.

I watched until my eyes caught fire! I really LOVE to see the Olympics and will watch all that I possibly can! I'll not be here so much, but see you when they are over.;)

Completely forgot, was in bed with an awful migraine. Did not do much yesterday. *2U

Got out Chinese dishes a friend gave me , order chinese food and sat and watched as long as I could...Plan on celebrating each event in some special way. Last night it was quite a production. I wish them all good luck.

I watched it and it was absolutley fantastic, evry year they get better and better, the best bit i thought was at the very begining

I don't have cable or satelite so I did not.

I did, last night. I was absolutely exhausted after a long day at work, but I was glued to the TV. What a massive production! They should be very proud of their achievement!!***

Watching it right now... guess it's a repeat??? I'm trying to keep my eyes open for USA (saw Irael). I need to go to bed. lol

Looked forward to it all day, phone rang just prior the start, but was free to watch about an hour later. Would have liked to see all of it, but must have nodded off in the chair because it was 3.30am when I woke and finally decided to go to bed... so who lit the flame and how??

I watched until the end! Hubby didn't make it however! But it was really about 12 hours earlier than we got it here in the states. Was really an awesome event, huh? It's now 12:30 AM and I have things to do before I go to bed!

Completely forgot, first time i've gone to bed before 10pm in aeons! LOL! Oh well, i'll watch the closing.

Worked all day. Now I'm catching up here. :)

I did It didn't finish until 1.30 in the morning Now it is being repeated I needent have stayed up so late
