I love them too Kim. I can understand why your quilting buddies loved them and thought you stitched them by hand. Hugs, Mary
Lovely work. You have done a great job digitising this! I like machine cross stitch too and the way the software plans the stitching - fascinating.
I recently used some designs I made more than a decade ago and plan to make new ones soon.
This is a great project and I do like it so much. I've only tried twice the machine embroidery XS. I even went so far as planning out a sun, my design when using my software. I'm sure your quilt friends were very surprised and loved them.
Thanks Patti...they did love them...two thought I had done them with hand cross stitch....
Gorgeous Kim, I've done a lot of cross-stitch projects with my embroidery machines. I particularly love Martine's Biscornu pin cushions. Love Chris
Thanks Chris...and you are sooo right...Martine's Biscornu pin cushion is the best!
I enlarged the picture and it looks so pretty. I love the idea of using cross stitch designs as a pin cushion. I too love hand embroidery and machine embroidery cross stitch that looks hand made. Please keep giving us great ideas for projects.
Oh my - how lovely, of course your friends loved them - they are wonderful!!! I too have never cross-stitched by machine yet (I do have a few designs just waiting for me to try it). You have inspired me!! Bunche of hugs to you!!
They are just beautiful. There are not many sites that have cross stitch.
Kim these are lovely and I am sure you enjoyed creating the design as much as stitching it out.
Very nice. I've done hand cross stitch, but never attempted it with a machine. Not sure I could get the fabric aligned correctly.
Thanks so much...it is really not that difficult, but the beauty is you don't have to use Aida cloth...
Lovely lovely, I love them, you will have request for more.
Have some Xst designs but sadly have not stitched them. Thank you for you comment about watching it stitch also.
Thank you for your kind comments...You should try cross stitch if you like it as machine cross stitch will boggle your mind! The recipients all thought that I did these by hand....but alas, I had to tell them that it was actually machine embroidery....
