173580Oh my! This is so beautiful. I'm so happy that work must have been going on behind the scenes for us to finally see photo's up close. I think you chose well. You may have seen black where you are seeing white. Black just sets off the stain glass effect as well as some other colors. Love it.

Hi Kim. Thanks so much for your kind comments. It’s turned out really well, but in hindsight I wished I’d used black background fabric to stitch the designs onto, as in some places I can see white underneath. It still looks good though!! Love Chris

Thanks Tonya, yes, there are a lot of threads in this one. I'm pleased with most of them. There were a couple where the stitches were wonky and I think it was due to a top thread not being tight enough with the tension. I managed to fix it in the last two squares!!!!! Love Chris
