Yesterday we my husband and self had a unexpected opportunity to visit the Welsh Botanical gardens with a group. I saw a few huge posters promoting an event near Christmas. Ah I thought yes that’s similar to the event near our younger daughter. It was only when I was walking from the entrance into the gardens something seemed familiar. On looking closely I realised the picture of the girls was of the grand daughters A few years ago. Left me with a lovely warm feeling. Pictures had been taken of the family to promote a similar event. I took a picture of my husband and the poster which I am sharing. We had a great day out and left shortly before the rain set in

Oh I love it! It does leave you feeling warm and proud. The girls look so happy! Years ago, the hospital where Avery and Isabella was born were doing some kind of promotion or advertisement of the hospital NICU and they used Avery’s photos. We knew of course, because Avery was sent to a photo shoot. Ashley received all the photos on a CD and some developed. It’s great but also kinda strange seeing one of yours on advertisements.

My daughter had been through a similar experience to Ashley, it was just so long ago that I didnt recognise the girls at first. What a dreadful grandmother I am!

The last time we had visited all the grandchildren were with us so this time we kept having the girls watching us

Oh my! What a surprise for you and I'm sure it brought back wonderful memories. My handsome hubby took me to Bodnant garden many years ago and I just loved the experience and wish I could go back. I think you live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Karen I know you have said before what a great place Wales is. The gardens we went to are at the lower end of Mid Wales where as Bodnant is north. The journey was beautiful as I was able to look at the views as usually I'm the driver. Please come back to Wales
