Hello Cuties, today the 12th of September is my oldest sister Sheila’s birthday. I called her and wished her a Happy Birthday about 10 this morning. Our sister Sue would always wake us up early, like 5 am sometimes, because she wanted to be the first to wish us a Happy Birthday. -lol-She never missed our birthdays and could remember some of my kids, too.

Sheila had to have a pacemaker a few weeks ago. She is not doing well. Sheila and Sue got COVID within the first year and were both long haulers. I am very concerned about Sheila. Although she says she is not afraid to die, I really don’t want to lose another sister so soon. It was just us three ‘girls’.
When I talked to Sheila today I didn’t tell her I was down with my back again. I don’t want her to worry about anything. I am trying to rush the paperwork about moms house. Honestly, I don’t know where the fault lies but we’ve been waiting on a closing date since the week Sheila had the surgery. The realtor asked Sheila if she could make it to sign at closing and she said no. She gave me power of attorney because she can’t make the trip. Hopefully, we can close this week and hopefully Sheila can get better soon. She did tell me today the Pacemaker people are reading her recording and getting with her doctor so maybe she will know something soon. I told her maybe she got a defective pacemaker. They are man made so it could be possible I suppose..
Well, I just had to ‘talk’ to y’all because I know Cuties will remember us in prayer. A lot going on right now. Love to all❤️Toogie

Happy birthday to your big sister! I've put her on my prayer list.
I'm the one in my family (after my mother passed) that calls everyone early on their birthday. Early being after 8AM, cause....well, it's their birthday! I sing the birthday song and God bless each of them, they act like it's the best thing ever, and I promise I make dogs howl when I sing.
It was decades before I didn't wake up on my birthday thinking about my mother singing to me. It was really the only thing I ever wanted, so I understand about your "Sue".
Take care of your back darling, they don't re-grow and it's what you're stuck with.

Trudy and her husband call me and sing happy Birthday to me on my birthday-lol- she may not this year because since having COVID her thought process isn’t so good. She has an appointment with a neurologist…. In JANUARY she told me🤷‍♀️

Please do give Sheila a very big happy birthday from the Cuties. I can understand you wanting to keep Sheila in your life for as long as possible. And she is doing her best to stay alive too. Keep loving on each other and making memories. I do hope she gets some answers and very soon. It's frustrating to be in a medical limbo. I hope the closing comes soonest and goes smoothly. I know you will have writer's cramp doing double the signing. I'm glad you vented. You know we Cuties always have time for more prayers for our Cute family. Keep us informed please.

Pacemaker people say it’s not showing any AFib but clearly there is SOMETHING wrong. My sister is a retired RN, ONC and not some hypochondriac. The doctors office doesn’t seem to be very helpful since pacemaker people say nothing wrong. I told her I wish she would have been here and had the surgery not 2 states away. I don’t know what the answer is but I hope help comes before anything worse occurs.

Happy birthday to Sheila and I pray that all goes well. I'd get a check about the pacemaker too Toogie, you never know it could be defective. I pray that your back gets better Toogie, nothing worse than back pain. Thinking of you all, love Chris

Of course, Cuties will remember you in prayer! I hope Sheila gets answers on the pacemaker. I have not been on much lately; lots has happened to my sister Sandy. Rest that back and feel better soon. Happy birthday Sister Sheila! Sending prayers and love, Suzanna.

Happy Birthday To your sister Sheila. I hope they sort her pacemaker out. One of my brothers got one a few years ago. He is going fine, so maybe she does have a faulty one, Sending prayers for you both. Hugs

I don’t know the answer Shirley but I’m glad to hear one helped your brother.

It's funny the quirky little things we miss from those who have gone on. Happy Birthday Sheila!

Sometimes doctors forget (or decide not) to turn on both sides of a pacemaker. My MIL kept passing out and hurting herself. They turned on the other side and now she is up and running again. Prayers...

Yikes!

I sent your response to Sheila. Wow! Is what I remember her first saying. Doctors are human so can make mistakes but mistakes like this could be fatal. Glad your mil is doing good now.
