The 2nd picture is Trev and I out the front of the Duomo with the Gucci building behind me, a favourite bag designer of mine, but very expensive!!
The 3rd picture is of me in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle 11, which is a stunning mall where there is a picture of a Bull. People are to put their heel in and turn anti clockwise 3 times on the Bull's privates!!!!!! It is meant to bring Good luck. If you zoom in, have a look on the guy's face behind me! Love Chris
Very nice pics, thank you for posting. Enjoy touring the City and do not forget to visit the Dominican Convent of "Santa Maria delle Grazie" where Leonardo Da vinci "The Last Supper" is located. Hugs Roberta
We are coming back to Milano in a week's time, so I'll put that on my list of things to see there. We are in Switzerland and have been here since Monday morning. Love Chris
You certainly chose an incredibly beautiful backdrop for your first picture. I love European cathedrals. Each one is so different and so amazing with the detail they managed to build in. I hope you get to enjoy more gelato too.
Hi Karen, yes it is a beautiful backdrop. We did another trip around the city's surrounds today, but we decided when we come back here in 8 days time, we want to look more closely at the suburbs.
I did have another Gelato today, Lemon and Mango, love Chris
Just like a summers day for Auzzies, very nice looking church.
Ha ha ha! I thought the same thing Marian, but we left in cooler conditions with rain! It's a shock to the system, but I know it's going to be a bit cooler up in Switzerland and Austria.
Love your comment about the "nice looking church", that made me smile!!! Sounds just like a typical Paul Hogan comment - we don't brag much as Aussies, but we are an enormous country and everything down-under is BIG!!!
It's a HUGE cathedral. Love Chris
Beautiful! 600 years! Oh my! I am assuming by the looks a Geleto is an 🍦 Ice cream. Thanks for the pic- glad you finally arrived. Traveling flights and waits are tiring.
Hi Toogie, it's mind blowing seeing the Duomo in Milano. It is absolutely striking. Since we were here in 2017 the Cathedral has been cleaned. It's just so beautiful.
Yes, a Gelato is an ice-cream. I had Limone (Lemon) and Fragola (Strawberry) and today I had Limone and Mango, so yummy and it's been so hot here at 30C. When we left Newcastle it was 20C and raining!! Love Chris
P.S. Off to Brig, St. Moritz, Zermat etc. for the next 5 days.
