Bubba has been M.I.A. (missing in action) all afternoon and I just put up the fifteen-minute search for him. After some quiet mewing, I found him contented, inside the linen closet door, snuggled on my --formerly-- clean towels, knitting, happy to see me, but not eager to leave his new-found space. Skye tried to lead me there several times, but I didn't understand her body language! I guess winter has set in and he is seeking new, warmer quarters.

So glad he wasn't lost!!! Cats find the most snuggly of places.

Loved the chuckle! I'm glad you found Bubba, safe and sound and cozy as could be. I guess it's worth the sacrifice of a clean towel to have such a wonderful kitty. Please give Bubba a gentle cuddle from me and glad you can see the humor in this wonderful story.
