there are 52 petal patterns. The scallop border was a last minute thought, I thought it would look better than the traditional straight edge. The design is available in different sizes. It is called Big Dream at Stitch Delight.

360366341What a lovely way to frame that flower. I like the green fabric as it makes a nice transition to the rest of the frame. Are my eye playing tricks on me? Or is there some yellow in one of the fabrics? I thing that wavy outside frame really adds motion to it and give it life. She's going to treasure this quilt! If you haven't put a pocket on the back with the details of this, I think you should consider doing that.
