I took my Laptop in for its annual service and anti virus a couple of days ago. I pointed out there was a imperfection on the bottom of the screen. The technician rang me back yesterday and it seems it will have to go back to the manufacturer to be fixed. Luckily I happened to take it in early as the Warranty runs out at the end of this month. I am now without a Laptop for 3 weeks or more. I have to rely on my iPad. Just as well I have a back up way of getting on the Internet.

Oh dear. I hope mine will not be that long. I might have to think about a back up one lol

I checked with the computer store yesterday and my laptop has gone to the main land ASUS repair place last Wednesday. Sure hope it is back soon. I am finding it frustrating downloading stuff on this iPad.

I am so glad to read that you have back ups. Too many forget to make them. I hope your baby does not need parts. From what I hear it could take a long time before getting them.

Thank goodness for back ups! I'm so sorry it will be such a long wait to get your lap top back in working order. But it sounds like your stitching will continue on.

I have not heard anything today so my guess is it is off to Sydney to be fixed. Just thankful I can do things on my IPad. I still have a old laptop so if I need to do any embroidery I have my designs on external drives. Others are not so lucky as I have heard some people are waiting on parts which could be months.
