Any Mac users out there. I have just about had it with Microsoft. Trying to get my new PC going is a nightmare and I am pretty techie. Problem is I keep my own files. Do not like One Drive ,.Cloud or anything like that. My 2 days of BackUp disappeared of my external hard drive. Strange because everything was there when I plugged into the new computer. Fortunately I still have everything, but I am frustrated to no end. I would switch in an instant if only my embroidery programs would work on my Mac.

Hi, I am a Mac person, I've been since 1986! Now I have a MacBook Pro. It works flawlessly with Embrilliance. If you go that way, let me know and I can coach you through it. I used to use PE Design on my Mac with Paralelles to read the card and to digitize. I LOVE embriliance and the fonts are incredible! Go MAC GO! Jan

First thing to do is go to Embrilliance and download the update. Follow their directions on how to install the latest version. There are tons of great tutorials on Youtube for Embrilliance. It was rough for me at first, but now I can get it to do way more than I ever could on PE Design and better.

I don't store my designs, music or photos on the Cloud. I store everything on my MacBook. I want to get to my files even if the internet is down. Send me a PM and maybe we can talk on the phone. Are you in the uS?

Which embroidery programs are you using? Embrilliance is one that works on either Mac or windows. I really like it on my Mac and use it most often. I also run a program called Virtual Box (free). When opened, you put your windows programs on it and it runs just like a windows machine would. I need this for my older version of Viking Premier+. You can PM me if you like. Hugs. Nan W

I had purchased Embrilliance and was never able to get it to work. At the time I blamed my lack of knowledge on my Mac Book. I am still trying to find my way around the Mac. I was such a PC girl

Angie I was most impressed to read yesterday that you had spent 30+ hours sorting a laptop and its contents out. Sorry to read todays message' problems etc.
