This taggie is for a friend who recently had their first child. In addition to the shell applique and the 'quilting', I also embroidered the baby's name on one of the ribbons.

Wonderful Snuggly. This fabric is easy to sew and oh so soft and cuddly. Great job.

Great job. Good idea to embroider something on one side. I have to make one soon and I think a applique would be fun to add. Thanks for the idea

Thank you. The material in the shell applique is soft flannel.

I love taggie blankets and they are such fun to make. I have just found my box of pre cut ribbons to finish off the taggie I am making. I am going to 'pinch' your idea and embroider the name on a piece of the ribbon

Thanks. A tip I learned the hard way: Embroider on grosgrain ribbon, much easier than satin!

Embroidering on satin ribbon isn’t fun
