Thank you so much, Chris. I agree - sewing is a lifetime skill and she is young, so I pointed that out to her and poured on the praise. When Vivian lived close by - she would spend a lot of time with me in my craft room, loving the material and thread. I truly believe she has the interest and patience to sew and that is why we bought her her own sewing machine. She was so pleased! Thanks again and hugs, Laura

However, the feelings we experience, as we sew and give something we made, are very satisfying. Sewing allows us the opportunity to think of our recipient as we sew or quiet times to pray for others. I know your grandmother is happy you have shown an interest in sewing because it can be fun and is necessary for something as simple as replacing a missing button.
